Phi Lambda Phi Fraternity has a rich history dating back to 1969 on the campus of what is now Truman State University, formerly Northeast Missouri State. Since its founding Phi Lambda Phi has been a driving force for change within the greek community. We were one of the first fraternities to embrace dry rush policies, as well as to ban all forms of hazing.

Our anti-hazing stance is in keeping with our brotherhood for life ideals, allowing new brothers full induction into the fraternity without any probationary period or pledge season.

In 2002 the time had come for our brotherhood to expand beyond our initial Alpha Chapter at Truman State University. It was then, that Phi Lambda Phi was formed as a national organization headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri.

With the vast majority of our alumni network being in Missouri, we began our regional expansion program with the Beta Chapter of Phi Lambda Phi on the campus of Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri.

At this time, we as a national organization, seek to grow our existing chapter membership and look forward to our expansion onto new campuses of higher education.
